• The annual membership fee is $15.00 per horse/rider combination.
  • The rider will receive an assigned back number from the BRHF to be used at sanctioned competitions for the purpose of point keeping.
  • Applications must be received before day of show for points to count.
  • Member must show under this back number.
  • Do not use the back number for a different horse or for the same horse with a different rider.
  • A horse may accumulate points in the same division with two different riders. The points will not be added together, but will be treated as two separate competitors.
  • Horses must be shown under the name registered with the BRHF.
  • Year-end awards will be given in each division.
  • The competition year will be from January 1 until December 31.
  • Points for year-end awards will count only if entry is a member prior to the show.
  • At a very small number of sanctioned shows (4-H Qualifying Shows), riders under the age of 9 may not be able to compete in classes where they have sole control of the horse due to insurance restrictions.
  • 3 hours of volunteer work at a BRHF show must be completed for a rider to be eligible for a year-end award. Hours must be submitted through the volunteer hours link on this website within 30 days of the event.
  • The BRHF Board of Directors reserves the right to refuse or revoke any membership due to un-sportsmanlike conduct or animal abuse.
  • Any violation of published rules at a given show will result in forfeiture of all points from that event.
